Hi Helghast. Problably you have being asked this a lot, I didn't find any FAQ: You're planning something with the gore system used in old versions of leaden sky?
btw i like your work, what made me interested back then was the impressive violence for a 2d game, you don't need to answer if is something personal or you don't want to.

Regarding your question, the old gore system will no longer ever be used in Leaden Sky game, because here I would like to focus on a solid and well refined single player experience and the old system was too unstable, bloated and it negatively impacted the performance, gameplay and development time, it made previous projects too hard to bugtest, balance and add anything new to already a huge pile of code, the list of issues it created just goes on.
If you are interested in the gore system alone I suggest you to check out this project called Final Response, it's being entirely made around old gore system, it's cheap (only 5$) and still being updated, it's not a well polished single player experience like Leaden Sky but it is a decent sandbox:
