I think it’s very helpful to find a ghost room using Tess. On the other hand, being able to specify a wandering room at once is a pretty powerful hint, so it would be good to consider the way you buy and unlock these features with money. (maybe ghost info too?)
I think the element of making a dagger by combining the materials is suitable as a new puzzle element. However, it would be even better if there was a safety for this. I think it's better that ghostpedia is in the journal. You have to mark ghost in the journal so it makes sense. Besides there are 12 app slot for apps of which 8 are already used. Others will for VideoTube, Sex Animations, a parody game and a special interaction.
Tess's function is not completely scripted. Tess will have stamina bar that will decrease faster if you task her with finding ghost room or bringing stuff to you. Her stamina can be replenished by buying ramen for her which will be automatically consumed by her.
There are only five daggers to make. It's recipes will be mentioned in ghostpedia. You can always carry those three ingredient with you and ask Tess to follow you with the cauldron. Or if she is not available. Eat an okonomoyaki to get an extra slot (but has speed debuff) to carry an item for a time.
Like this game it will have special ghost animations. But don't wanna spoil it talking about it.
Also both Tess and Athena will take a small percentage from player's earning. On rare occasion Regina swoops in taking 80% of the money (She is Mason's boss after all). If you manage to do a quest you can swap between Athena and someone else (probably Judy or Melanie but I'm leaning towards Melanie more).
