I love the gameplay loop here and the atmosphere achieves its horror, I feel like having the monster appear one at the time made it less anxiety inducing and it was really easy to stock pile materials for the fire, I didnt need to use the pill during my playthrough, I think the gun having infinate bullets made it easy to shoot the monsters by spam clicking and reloading could make it better or i guess scarier?

I completely agree with you! Those are things I want to improve and fix/add in a new version when the jam ends.  Actually, monsters can spawn consecutively; however, such a sequence would indicate a rather unlucky run. Thank you so much for the feedback on how I can improve the game! By the way, if you got the "Demiurge" ending (yellow background), where you finish a run with the fire completely full, I'm quite surprised.

Nope not really haha, I only focused on keeping the fire alive and didnt really spend my materials to have it full because I was under the impression it was pointless to do that
