I like how you designed the environment that way so I have to optimize my Way Of Destruction for the best combo.
Here are some minor nitpicks (not to repeat the stuff about the camera):
- don't react on "any key" or "space" so quickly, I accidentally restarted the game a couple of times in an attempt to make a jump
- the way the cat stops each time to make a hit was a bit counter-intuitive
- platforming is hard, especially in 3D, so any hints of where I am and where I will land would help a lot (like a small shadow on the floor)
Overall, it is a solid submission, nice job!
