Hi CMSaiko,

Unfortunate, that is not allowed: Whether the music is played by default or enabled by user interaction, if you don't have the appropriate permissions or licenses for the copyrighted music, its use would still likely be considered a copyright infringement.

Possible Alternatives:

  • Use royalty-free or public domain music.
  • Obtain proper licenses for the copyrighted music you want to use. Like music packs from the Asset Store or Market Place.
  • Create original music for your game.

Hi, I would of course seek permission for the music. I would probably use services like Epidemic Music for the copyright music part. I was thinking that copyright music would be bad for YouTube videos u guys might make.

So it should be fine if I have the license, right?

Yes, If you have the license it is totally fine. Plus the toggle is fine than also as extra setting to toggle off/on music& sfx.

If we do have some time to do YouTube we might get some trouble, but we will find a solution for that. No worries.
