I'm not well versed in ren'py coding but what do you think you could do that wouldn't require remaking the game from the ground up?
i am not a developer.
you could try using the accessibility tools,found on the profile pages of npckc and theo here on itch.
maybe add alt text to menus, choices, etc if they're not there then.
we'll see.
