I'm happy to see you made another driving game for SBIG, I loved box kar racing and though it was unfinished I found the sequel kinda charming in a sort of Y2K-era screensaver way.

The car physics were funny, and the other drivers being able to just ram into you was fun. Also congrats on adding sound effects for the first time!

But I do fully agree with this not feeling like a game, and just being a sort of test bed for mechanics. And tbh mine almost ended up being the same if I wasn't able to submit late lol. But the other drivers are just stuck in level geometry, and the level itself makes it hard to drive around and do tricks too wildly. And while the car movement feels fine, the camera is still a bit too wonky. An extra suggestion is to have the cursor locked on the screen so it sin't distracting or allow the player to accidentally click offscreen.

My honest recommendation for the next SBIG game would be something like a destruction derby or a Carmageddon clone. Like take the basic idea of running into randomly wandering NPCs, and give the player and the NPC's a health bar, and have progression based on how much destruction/death the player causes. And you can just make the level a circular, enclosed arena with obstacles scattered around for some physics fun. Just my 2 cents!

For what little is there though I enjoyed it! Good work and congrats on submitting!

Thank you for your response! The original idea was a game akin to Flatout, Burnout and Blur combined but due to time and the main coder having a job it was never fully realised. But in the future we will work on making this game the best it can be!
