Tried playing the game yesterday. I really liked the dialogue and the technical skill you show with the features such as being able to decorate your room is really cool. The visual style is also great overall. About the only thing I didn't like about it was that some of the indoor rooms and locations seemed to be too big and empty, but it's not a huge deal.

Also, at the start of the game, I think that it was confusing where you were meant to go. You know that you are going to the Adventurer's Guild, but if there were some instructions as to where it was, I forgot them basically as soon as I left the classroom. Then I had to spend about 20 minutes wandering around the castle and town before I randomly found it. I think that having a bit more direction would be good, such as when you leave the castle, the MC could say something like: "Alright, the adventurer's guild is in the eastern part of town, let's go!"

I didn't play it for much longer past that, since I ran into the same bug as Hawk, where as soon as I entered the forest, the game slowed down to a crawl. Probably some kind of bug with a parallel processing event? Seems like it's fixed now though, so maybe I'll give it another try later on.

I've posted an updated version that directs players to the guild. When you enter the town map from the academy exterior, you'll trigger an event that will tell you where the guild is. You can trigger it every time you cross it until you actually find the guild, at which point, the event will switch off. The issues you mention are a bit much to redo. Especially for a jam game. And yes, the freezing bug was fixed last night. I could have probably found a better way to implement what was causing it, but I decided to just delete the event.
