Really enjoyed the idea of Missile Command + roguelike! It's been a few years since I've played the cabinet, but that feeling of being out of ammo and watching all the missiles slowly rain down on you is something I remember from my childhood! I thought the incorporation of the theme was really well done– having to deal with facing a version of whatever you've upgraded to.
Graphics and music were excellent and really fit the theme. Newspaper upgrade dialog was very clever.
- I was getting a small bug where I was displayed the option to heal even if I don't have the currency to upgrade
- It wasn't obvious to me on my first playthrough that I could see my inventory between rounds. Perhaps if it had used a similar UI to in-game it would have been more obvoious?
- The difficulty ramp felt a little aggressive, but I'm sure it was in the coin-op as well :)
