first of all i read the story on the project page and it's a very interesting story to me. great job on it
main menu would be a nice menu theme for a game, the orchestra is very nice there, it's realistic, and a good arrangement as well with those woodwinds melodies and arpeggios, strings, very cheerful, i love it
i like those percussions and xylophone/marimba(?) on breakfast, very cheerful, and the strings adding to it and supporting the melody sounds very good in the result, definitely would fit a game about some adventure.
distractions fits very well as a track that would fit a scene where the main character is distracted and/or confused, that "boing" sound effect kinda caught me off guard haha, its a nice short track
shattered kind of resembles some previous tracks ive heard, but gets odd more and more adding suspense, then those chords that are saying that the main character is traumatized with the main melody being played sometimes kind of like fighting between the "it can't be real everything is good right?" and the thing that happened, and then the chords get louder and louder, realisation taking over the hope, and then the "main melody" being played in a different key, with some extra notes, and it didnt even finish, implying that the main character "escaped to the inner world" and got trapped there. a short track but still so much meaning (at the very least, knowing the plot). great job!
trials sounds tense, ominous, again the orchestra is realistic there, great job
game over is a nice little theme, i noticed it has the "main melody" as well but edited, making it sad and dark and has an "unfinished" feel of it as well, kind of like yeah it is a game over but it's not the time to stop, the story didnt end, very nice
be strong for me fits the described moment very well in my opinion, as it sounds hopeful, powerful, but still has some dark feeling to it as if it was saying "dont give up, be strong for me, no matter what, even if it's tough and hard to keep going and it's very dark theres still a subtle light of hope". and the ending part getting louder and louder works perfectly for the cutscene, i just imagine how the main character gets up and gets more confident. it's simple but still powerful, you sure did a great job :)
overcome sounds powerful as well, epic, dramatic in a way. resembling the main character being able to overcome all struggles, going through the toughest times, getting stronger, although i kind of feel like it could use a bit more percussions before one minute mark, after it it's just perfect
my conclusion is: this is great. you did a great job. i liked the sound design of it, and most importantly i love how the soundtrack tells the story on its own, probably you wouldn't have to read the whole story but just sit down, close your eyes and listen to the whole soundtrack, trying to imagine the whole picture while listening to it. again, amazing, great job!
