yeah, kind of got carried away with the experimental style combining synths, some bits of orchestra and guitars but it was fun nonetheless

thanks for listening and providing feedback! i appreciate it so much and glad you got some favourite tracks

thanks a lot, really appreciate your comment!

honestly it was kinda hard to work with only one channel working because my headphones were dying at the moment when the jam begun. :') but at the same time good thing i figured out the style and stuff and trying to make something in it, so i was only hoping it will sound decent on working headphones or speakers. overall thanks again, glad you enjoyed the tracks!

yeah honestly after uploading everything i was also quite confused with how the second track turned out, probably gonna remake it later after the jam ends?

thank you for listening and for feedback!

thank you for listening!

really appreciate your feedback, thanks lots! unfortunately when i was working on it my headphones were dying and i could only work with right channel so i just hoped that the stereo plays i did were decent enough. thanks for listening and paying attention to small details :)

thank you! first i thought of using more orchestra but got carried away into more synths...

thanks a lot!

thank you so much i appreciate your feedback! the very basic idea of it came from me playing guitar so that's how i came up with the chord progression (although very basic idea for chord progression) and then thought those some kind of "pauses" could stay.

thank you very much!

unfortunately didnt have enough time to fix bubble town cuz now im not sure with the melody either, but it was intentional when i had the idea first to give it some "off"-feel to it (but now that i think about it, probably i could do it better lol). might update in the future and post on the server tho

very impressive how you recorded the instruments and vocals, you sure did a great job!

the expressiveness, the idea, the melody, it all sounds together really good

im not sure if its me but all the tracks also fit to each other, because when listening to it all i didnt notice that i was done listening to it all, i thought i was still listening to the first track.. and the tracks work great on loop as well!

i cant pick which one is my favorite cuz all of them are great. "heart of the steppes" is the most developed track, it got so much instruments playing in it including vocals, and as for the melody i think my favorite one is gilded strands

the story, the soundtrack and the artwork is very nice, unique, and impressive

the idea is very interesting and fitting in my opinion, i like it

tides of time is a good fitting track for the beginning of the story, sounding all nice but there's this sad melody on a piano with kind of dark tone, resembling how she feels empty, ..."with a sense of dread, a sadness"..., and i think the silence at the end is on purpose or something, kind of like everything stopped when Kiki spots her old sketchbooks.

revival of youth starts very interesting, all those notes are like "memories" that are coming back to her, and as they appear more and more, strings and synth in the backing starts getting louder, adding more to the memories, and then she gets into the world of her old sketchbook. really fits the story!

almost enough - a really nice, sad track, i like the ambience feel of it with sound effects, a great mix of orchestra-like instruments and electronic ones, the bassline is very nice as well.

i see it now - i love it, really beautiful, the synths, the orchestra in it, its just great, very pleasant to listen to.

overall, i liked both the story and the sountrack, its such a pleasant project to listen and read to, great job!

first of all i read the story on the project page and it's a very interesting story to me. great job on it

main menu would be a nice menu theme for a game, the orchestra is very nice there, it's realistic, and a good arrangement as well with those woodwinds melodies and arpeggios, strings, very cheerful, i love it

i like those percussions and xylophone/marimba(?) on breakfast, very cheerful, and the strings adding to it and supporting the melody sounds very good in the result, definitely would fit a game about some adventure.

distractions fits very well as a track that would fit a scene where the main character is distracted and/or confused, that "boing" sound effect kinda caught me off guard haha, its a nice short track

shattered kind of resembles some previous tracks ive heard, but gets odd more and more adding suspense, then those chords that are saying that the main character is traumatized with the main melody being played sometimes kind of like fighting between the "it can't be real everything is good right?" and the thing that happened, and then the chords get louder and louder, realisation taking over the hope, and then the "main melody" being played in a different key, with some extra notes, and it didnt even finish, implying that the main character "escaped to the inner world" and got trapped there. a short track but still so much meaning (at the very least, knowing the plot). great job!

trials sounds tense, ominous, again the orchestra is realistic there, great job

game over is a nice little theme, i noticed it has the "main melody" as well but edited, making it sad and dark and has an "unfinished" feel of it as well, kind of like yeah it is a game over but it's not the time to stop, the story didnt end, very nice

be strong for me fits the described moment very well in my opinion, as it sounds hopeful, powerful, but still has some dark feeling to it as if it was saying "dont give up, be strong for me, no matter what, even if it's tough and hard to keep going and it's very dark theres still a subtle light of hope". and the ending part getting louder and louder works perfectly for the cutscene, i just imagine how the main character gets up and gets more confident. it's simple but still powerful, you sure did a great job :)

overcome sounds powerful as well, epic, dramatic in a way. resembling the main character being able to overcome all struggles, going through the toughest times, getting stronger, although i kind of feel like it could use a bit more percussions before one minute mark, after it it's just perfect

my conclusion is: this is great. you did a great job. i liked the sound design of it, and most importantly i love how the soundtrack tells the story on its own, probably you wouldn't have to read the whole story but just sit down, close your eyes and listen to the whole soundtrack, trying to imagine the whole picture while listening to it. again, amazing, great job!

first of all the story is very interesting and i'd love to play a game like that, i can clearly hear those inspirations in your tracks :)

drifting to sleep is a very nice calm track, the instruments are great, it makes me feel just like you described it, really reminds me of chrono trigger in a way. and as the track goes on more effects are being played changing from the clock ticking to the sea waves and bubble sound effects. the sound design is on top, great job!

dreams of water really gives that underwater vibes, with fishes and other stuff around. synth work is great there, the structure is very interesting as well, i like the panning rhodes(?) and how full the mix sounds while keeping it simple and some of the effects from the previous track being played here as well trying to keep the style same but at the same time being different and so original. it sure has that adventure-exploring feel to it. again, great job

dancing with the fish spirits is a very interesting track, being so cheerful and at the same time mysterious (cuz those are fishes and theyre ghosts?), i like the mix of electronic, ambient and orchestra bits in it.

mystery also has a nice sound design, sounds mysterious, would definitely fit for some puzzle mini game or something, or also exploring a hidden location in the game.

overall i can't point out which one was my favorite but i can clearly say that the whole ost is my favorite one, it fits so well to the concept, the sound design is amazing as well, great job!

a nice combination of orchestra, electronic, ambient and some kind of jazz feeling to it, and the effects making it fit the theme of planet of bubbles, submergency would work great as some introduction to the bubble planet sounding ominous in a way but at the same time there's that part that would reveal the planet itself and it sounds much more brighter and epic, and then it got calmer with piano and guitar with some pads, is a very nice touch to it. i like how sea frog got more instruments playing on it, the chord progression is very good, full of energy, the instruments fit very well all together. abyss eyes is another great work, eerie and ambient. final breath is very interesting, the tense in the beginning, how dramatic it sounds, being much more orchestra, and then it gets much more calm sounding and cheerful in a way, and then epic and dramatic again like before but with a different mood. this project is really well done, amazing, i liked it! keep going
