So here is my list:

  • The character not animating according to where it is moving feels kinda jank but alright
  • The onboarding/tutorial regarding the game's mechanics is well thought out and executed
    • except for the dashing, the dash cancel does not really feel right with me
  • The attack indicator on the specific (mage?) enemy is a nice thing to have, though the black box attack is not nice
  • Not having an animation for the gun, doesnt look great, though having it functional is a good start
  • The clipping that you are seeing on the floor (mainly at the doors) is due to 2 meshes being at the exact same height, causing them to start clipping (its calles "z-fighting")

Not a bad execution at making a top-down hack&slash game. Missing the theme a bit, with exception of the attacks of the "shadow enemies"

Really valid/good criticism, and yes, we might have gone a little too overboard on the Shadow theme lol.
