Really good shit. Simple but interesting gameplay gimmick with the 2-digit binary code actions, although I feel the spooky bits would have been more effective if they were timed. The graphics prove that you don't need +1.000.000.000 polygon models and Omegatracing lighting to create a great atmosphere. There's some vague but interesting lore going on.

My only gripe is that the controls feel a bit off, the actions are done with the mouse but the movement is done with the arrows keys, no WASD. Personally, I would have taken advantage of the old computer terminal look and added four directional clickable buttons so everything is done with the mouse.

Thank you for playing! When I slapped the shader onto the screen I almost shat myself bc it was so effective. If I learned anything from this jam, it's that shaders are amazing and they will save a lot of time in developing, everyone, literally anyone who is involved in making games should learn a thing or two about it.

As for the story, aside from what was going on "during" the game, there are some hints hiding in the map and their dialogue. Why did Gamma end up in there? And why is this game called "Gamma Signal"? Why did Gamma make the binary code when there is morse code, transmission, etc?  I had a clear mind about what is the anomaly, aside from spotting said anomaly,  I also hope someone will find out what exactly happened to them.

As for the control, I totally agree that your suggestion matches the "terminal look" better. As I am planning on making a new game out of this project, your advice helps a lot! Thank you :3 ✨
