It seems like a good game loop and I like the visuals but the sound seems to be your downfall. The in game audio is a bit crackling and the sound for the text at the beginning is just trying to repeat for every letter that goes in.
Otherwise great work on having it work correctly in a browser.

I can totally agree that sound is the least taken care aspect - I'm no expert around sound and i rushed stuff around it. That being said - I did not add sound for the text at the beginning... that sounds weird. Can I ask you what OS and browser? So I can playtest and learn from it :)
