I love the artstyle and the concept of a dungeon crawling wizard. I don't understand why the walking speed is so slow, I would suggest making the current sprint speed the walking speed. The death sound effect for the first tutorial monster made me laugh, but I don't think it's a good sound if you want to keep going with this game. 
The gameplay loop was cool tho, getting essences on missions to get new powerups. With some more polish to the combat and movement, this could be a really cool game.
