It's complicated. Not so much an issue with itch as it's an issue with Steam and the ToS there.

(+3)

After years on STEAM I found that they, Steam/Valve have too many issues amongst themselves and just as many contradictory attitudes and opinions. One one hand AVNs are very present on STEAM and 98%+ of them are uncensored giving full view access to interactions. itch, Discord, or Patreon allowing the views and opinions of STEAM/Valve effect their services to developers is a paramount violation of developer rights to freedom of expression which is what these sites based their creation and offerings of services to developers to bring them in. I find it peculiar that blood, guts, and death are considered acceptible to expose young people to but acts of precreation and pleasure are not. This is not common around the world. Some places public nudity and such are common place and accepted. Even on public television. Other places, "Not so much" is the kind way of saying it. Yet even those places CLAIM Freedom of Expression is respected. Double standards much?

Please at the very least post an update about it, then. I don't play AVNs on Steam because I don't want to have two accounts that I need to keep switching between and I don't need the whole world to know what porn games I play. I know about private profiles but some games' online functionality straight up won't work if your profile is set to private (like Helldivers2).

I want to play this game but I'm not going to spend the money if we're forever going to be behind.

You know that you can hide games now individually even directly on checkout?
