Cant seem to send you messages and hope that this does not come off as unsolicited critism but there are frequent issues with gender swapping of characters an example is the one below where gender is swapped for Pheonix mid paragraph:
Another would be the starting in hair choice Im not sure why if you choose the choice of being bald it still alklows you to have hair length. (I was just curious to see whether it was coded to react accordingly hahah). :
I honestly think this are easy fixes that could be left till the end since these things are what a beta testers would pick up anywas.

Thank you for this!! I'll have to double proof next time, but it's so easy to miss when I'm the only one proofreading and testing. I'll probably have to get some beta testers later on when it gets more complicated.
As for the hair thing, I hate it too...but I didn't want to make a whole bunch of passages just for the character customisation but maybe it'll be easier. Harlowe unfortunately doesn't allow some things I would be able to do on SugarCube but I've gotten used to Harlowe and it's difficult to switch now. 🥴
