Your approach to the corruption totally makes sense. I was thinking about it a little more and I think I get what you are going for with the way it's done.  Don't get me wrong, it works very well for this game and is still immensely enjoyable.

Thanks for looking into the cheat weapon! I certainly appreciate that.

As for the update, honestly that's a bummer, but you got to look out for yourself first so it's understandable especially if you are working on your own.  If you need/want help writing or planning the story let me know (pro bono of course). Certainly don't want to step on your toes in any way, especially creatively, but I'm a good writer and love the genre. No pressure though.

Best of luck to you and I'll cross my fingers that you get the enthusiasm back!

No problem, comments like these really help!

I will have to respectfully decline your offer of help, I tend to find that outsourcing work generally leads to reduced quality/cohesion even if both parties are very talented.

I will encourage you to put those talents to work making something all your own! I made this because I have always wanted to play something like this. If you have the chance, try making something too! It's pretty rewarding. If you need advice, I'm happy to help

Hey no worries. I totally understand your position!

It's funny, the last couple days I've been playing around in Koikatsu making characters and I think I am going to try and make something. I think RPGM is the best avenue for me as it's the genre I'm most familiar with and seems to easiest to use.

Can I ask. What programs you use other than SRPG studio and Koikatsu. Like how are you moving your
character models into the game program?
Thanks!

sure, I use koikatsu and srpg studio.

You can't transfer 3d models into the engine, but it does accept pictures. So for the characters them selves I download the character cards on to a background remover site and transfer them as jpegs. Meanwhile with the koikatsu studio I just export pictures of the scenes. Beyond that I just crawl through srpg studio resource sites for things like skill codes and sprites, and use royalty free assets where necessary.

If you post your game let me know!

Thanks for the help! I'm very new to all this so it'll probably be a good while before I get anything worth distributing. But I'll let you know.

Dominant Tale is definitely an inspiration to my work!

Hey there! Question for you - do you have a resource for learning SRPG studio? It was on sale and I want to learn it in addition to RPGM. My current game is in progress in RPGM but I may delve into SRPG studio in the future.

Also any update on your next release (no pressure, just really curious and looking forward to it!)

Thanks!

Best advice I can give is that it's better just to poke around and see what you can do. try recreating a starting map from an fe game as practice. The wikis are better used as supplementary than a guide.

Looking forward to seeing your game come out, It's this month right?

I am still working on it, goal right now is the first week of December, work has been taking up a lot of time lately, sorry for the delay

Nice thanks!

Yeah I have the first chapter drafted and crafted, I just need to iron it out - make up for some learning curve errors, continuity issues, and dialogue improvements. I really wanted to get it out this weekend, but just like you work has been crazy.

No worries on the delay, I know how it is. If nothing else trying to make my own game has really given me perspective on other developers time frames.
