Super unique take on the theme! A well implemented, if frustratingly difficult, core movement mechanic. Reminds me of Getting Over It. Love the art and animations! I got stuck after the second checkpoint, though. I would love to see a way to swap the fish's direction without needing to jump. It feels too frustrating when you get onto a little ledge, but are facing the wrong direction, so you just have to jump back down. But overall, really great work!

If I made it so you could swap the fish direction without jumping, that would defeat the purpose of the game lol (but if you enable cheats, you can do exactly that, using WASD!). Did you have any other suggestions? 

I'll have to check out "Getting over it"

Maybe you can add a little meter to show how much force your press is adding, so that it can be a little easier to duplicate your inputs?
