Great job! The game feels really good and has a consistent vibe. Even though the alien is just a circle, the growing with the audio does a fantastic job at building tension.
I tried to make a shader to add more texture to the specimen, but it ended up looking bad so I scraped it. Maybe if I had another day I would have done it.
