Wow, the platforming was actually really fun!

Too bad the boss couldn't be finished but what's there is already really fun, congrats!

Not really hard but cool concept and fun little animations at the end, congrats!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!

Congrats for not getting stuck at level 2 like a lot of other people did!
I agree that having more time for the controls would be great, overall they're not very intuitive and having multiple options for each makes it harder to understand.

Really cool game!

The mechanic is clever and I the modifiers are really fun as well.

Congrats!

Wow that was one of the best game so far!

I love the idea, the mechanics, the difficulty (I got up to 2910 if I remember correctly). Everything is well executed and really fun to play.

The only nitpicks I could find are that meteors don't give you any warning when you're zoomed in, making them really hard to avoid and the music can get repetitive after a while (but it's not game that you'll play for a long time anyway so it's not that bad).

In any case, I had a really fun time, congrats!

Very fun game!

I liked having to change through all of the keys before an obstacle to find the easiest one. The visuals and music were also pretty cool.

I got stuck during level 2 at some point (I didn't know I could jump that high!), but I quickly figured it out.

Wow, really good concept and great execution, I had an amazing time!

The font was hard to read at first but I eventually good used to it.
I really like the dodge mechanic, but for the attack I don't get why I should use the standard attack instead of magic (except with the upgraded sword at the end).

Overall, great take on the theme and really fun game, it's probably one of the highest rating I gave so far, congrats!

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it!

I agree that the controls aren't explicit, I'll fix it if we get to make an improved version.

My favorite take on the agar.io interpretation of the theme so far!

It got very laggy at some point, but other than that I had a really fun time, congrat!

Sorry about the performances, I'm building the .exe right now, it should be ready in a few minutes.

And sorry about level 2, I should have made it more obvious 😅

Edit: Can't add files during the voting unfortunately, I'll do it after the jam's end.

I've never realized it but you're right, it does make it better!

It mostly comes from the fact that scaled up pixel art doesn't look too good, but I was never bothered by keeping it a circle anyway. Probably for the reason you mentioned, even if unconsciously.

In any case, thank you for playing the game!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

You're also the first person to mention the "death by being crushed".
It's a pretty rare way to get a gameover but I really liked making it, and I know that Ménure I had a lot of fun making the gory sound effect!

I agree that level 2 is not the most obvious level, I should have added more indication for when the specimen is about to pop, but I didn't have time to make it look good. I'm really happy that you could figure out the rest of the game easily thought.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!

I agree, the minigame should be a bit harder.
I had the idea to pause the minigame when I first made it but I never took the time to implement it. I also considered moving the target to a random position every time the player succeed but I didn't do it either.

Maybe I'll come back to this game at some point to improve it, idk

Fun game with a cool setting and great graphics.

I struggled a bit with the camera and the moving block (they often got stuck and I had to restart), but great game otherwise congrats!

Very cool graphics and great puzzles!

I had a lot of fun optimizing my conveyor belts, really fun game, congrats!

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree that level 2 isn't very clear, and same thing for the cancel button being separate.
It made sens to me for the terminals, but it's a bit weird for letting go of the cart.

Great visuals and really cool idea!

I feel like the gameplay needs more balancing and the mechanics should be more explained (I still don't know what the utilities room are for). But other than that, I had a great time, congrats!

Really good concept for a rythme game and nice visuals!

The inputs weren't very responsive a find the game a little too hard, but other that I had a really good time, good job!

Very nice idea and good take on the theme!

I feel like the timing was too short, making the game way too hard, but maybe that's just me.
Other than that it was a really fun game, congrats!

Very nice mechanics and puzzles!
I also really like the Portal aesthetic and vibe.

For me the game with not very fluid, so it wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been.
But still, I had a fun time, congrats!

The specimen grows in every level, but if you're talking about the second level, you need to kick the box next to the specimen so that it doesn't explode.

Really fun game with great visuals and music!

I find the game a little too hard and I feel like it should pause when giving you the option to upgrade, I died too many times because of it. Or maybe I'm just bad idk

Other than that I had a really fun time, congrats!

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you liked it!

Very nice factory game with great visuals.

Maybe some sounds would have been nice, but great game otherwise. Congrats!

You're suppose to interact with the terminals to proceed to the next level.
The kick can be used on boxes to get them out of the way

Really cool game, I had a great time with it!
The concept is really cool, the art is nice and I love the adaptative music.

My only complaint is that at some point the game becomes way too easy. I got so much money that I started piling everything up trying to get as high as possible. I got up to 3000m!

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree that having to break the boxes is not obvious at first.
With a few more days I would've added a proper tutorial to the game, but oh well.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the game!

The sound design was done by Ménure and I agree, it's awesome!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the game!

I wanted to have more levels, but instead I spent an hour and a half failing to create a nice shader for the specimen...
But oh well, maybe I'll do an improved version with more levels later on.

Damn, it got it me like a jumpscare at the end!

Good game with interesting mechanics and puzzles packages with cool visuals and music. Congrats!

"Why were they my enemies?", very interesting 🤔

Merci beaucoup !
Je suis super content qu'il t'ait plu !

Great idea and really fun game!

I had some issues with the controls, but great game, congrats!

Good take on the theme, amazing visuals and great levels.

Congrats!

Pretty great idea!
Too bad they aren't many sound or music

Very clever use of shadows for the gameplay!

I would've liked more animation for the player and the combat could have been better.
But it's a good take on the theme and a cool little story, congrats!

Very enjoyable game, congrats!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you for the feedback!

None of the boxes explode, but all of them make the specimen explode if they get in contact. Sorry if it wasn't clear.
I also agree that some of the button assignments were not obvious.

It took me some time to fully understand the mechanics, but in the end I find it really clever and enjoyable.

Good job!
