Based on my experience, I think the posters are currently a way to dictate the difficulty of the game (like the Slender game, but without having to catch them all).

But it would be really cool if not catching any, catching only a few, or catching all of them resulted in a different ending.

Regarding the alternate ending, We’re working on adding a second ending, which will happen if the player collects all the posters. This update should be available within the next few days.
