...but when i place it like this, game don't consider constraint met even if distance should be the same.

Hi! Each constraint is measured as the distance you would have to travel both horizontally and vertically from one grid space to another. In this second image the gnomes would be one grid sapce away from each other.  In the first image,  as the gnomes are both three grid spaces away from each other (two down + one left, or two right + one up) they are classed as three away, even though there is only one space between them diagonally.

So game measures distance only vertically and horizontally. I don't wont to be rude but i think it's pretty counterintuitive and confusing, which is bad for a puzle game. I mean, who even measures distance like that on a grid ? It's a massive flaw that's bringing down your game. It still my opinion but i bet that majority of player are gonna agree with me.
