How does your game fit the theme?
You have to build houses that are of different scales, and as you progress through the game the scale of the grid also increases. Furthermore, you are planning this town using pins on a pin board, so there's a sense of scale in that you're some big overseer of this world.

Great puzzle game. I really love the graphics. I think it would be a lot better, if tasks were always on a screen
Good game but i found one bug that pises me of: on a first lvl you must put gnomes 3 spaces away from each other, game consider constraint met when i place them diagonaly like this...
...but when i place it like this, game don't consider constraint met even if distance should be the same.
Hi! Each constraint is measured as the distance you would have to travel both horizontally and vertically from one grid space to another. In this second image the gnomes would be one grid sapce away from each other. In the first image, as the gnomes are both three grid spaces away from each other (two down + one left, or two right + one up) they are classed as three away, even though there is only one space between them diagonally.
So game measures distance only vertically and horizontally. I don't wont to be rude but i think it's pretty counterintuitive and confusing, which is bad for a puzle game. I mean, who even measures distance like that on a grid ? It's a massive flaw that's bringing down your game. It still my opinion but i bet that majority of player are gonna agree with me.
Nice game! Sprites and music were good! I found the puzzles very hard, and I got stuck on the first one for ages haha. A visual representation of range through highlighted tiles or making buildings that are too close together stand out some how would help.
But good job, that was fun!
Loved the game concept. A very smart design for the brief of time. The sprites and presentation were nicely done. It was also challenging to play. I have a suggestion, although I don't know how hard will it be to implement, but instead of pre made levels do a procedural system where every time the level is beat, the grid increases and random number of buildings and rules are assigned to the new level (which may be hard to balance) and have a timer running down. Every time a level is complete increase and game ends when timer runs out.
Good luck!
