This was really fun to play! I enjoyed the puzzles, and the overall style of the game felt great--the visuals and sound were good! I also love the story of the little wizard trying to escape a jar.

Here's some feedback if y'all continue to work on the game (it's great so far--I'd play a longer version!):

  • I found some of the physics of the objects frustrating. Not sure if there's a good way to get around that. The restart button was occasionally a lifesaver because I got something into a pretty bad spot. I actually didn't realize there was a restart button at first (I don't know why I didn't see it right away, just missed it for some reason), so there was one level where I messed something up because of the physics and I spent a lot of time trying to get something back in place.
  • Not sure if the custom cursor messed with me a bit or something, but I often found it very hard to click objects, especially if they got very small, or if they were nearby other objects. Maybe it was because it was the center of the cursor instead of the top left? I'm not sure, to be honest.
  • Minor bug: you can pause on the main menu with the escape, and it feels a little weird with the overlapping UI when you do that.

Overall, great job! This was a really good take on the theme and y'all put it together extremely well!

Thanks for the feedback! That's all really useful and affirms some theories I have seeing some of our other feedback
