I see this is your first jam game, that's always quite the ride. Espacially with a team of 4+ , it's tough to organise at first, and if you are like me when I started out, you end up mostly gambling on what things will be doable on time. 
I think for a first, this team did well. I hope you take this experience to come back stronger for your next jam! 

Here's a tip that's often gets neglected: aim to have a playable prototype ASAP. Missing features, annoying bugs and placeholder graphics don't matter. Even if it crashes after 30 seconds of playtime, you can still send it to friends and get some very precious external feedback. You'll be surprised to hear what others find fun and what they dislike.
