Yeah, I agree that communication with the player is not one of the game's strengths, and the building mechanics are very, very barebones as-is, which are both things I would've improved if I had more time and will improve on if/when I update the game. I struggled to figure out a way to make the game approachable for people who have no idea how music works, but still challenging for experienced composers and musicians, which led to some people finding the game impossible and some people finding it becoming stale, which could probably honestly just be fixed by some kind of optional tutorial. Thanks for the feedback!

Also, in case you were wondering, your solution is only making a sound every four counts. Level 2 asks you to make a sound every two. Again, hard to tell the difference if you're not familiar with music, which is something for me to think about for the future.
