This was very interesting concept. I enjoyed it. ^_^
Thanks so much for playing! I enjoyed your play through and appreciate your criticism!
Sometimes when creating, one lives in their head too long, so it's hard to imagine what it's like reading/playing this from a blank slate. I think I assumed that if you somehow found this, you probably were familiar with my body of work. BUT this is not always the case. I agree that including at least a sentence to callback the plot of my previous projects would make the whole experience a little less confusing. Momo is the antagonist in previous projects, so I wanted to explore him and his thoughts after all the events of said projects.
I thought about using senpai's name, Jordan, for this. However, since Jordan is the player character in previous projects I decided against it. As you have demonstrated, a poor decision on my part... After watching your play through, you're right. As a short game written in English for English-speaking audiences, English should be used to avoid less confusion. I think it's not so important to know that Jordan is Momotarou's upperclassman. It's more important for the reader to know that Jordan is someone Momo cares about. And since this is such a short project anyway, it's probably best to use "Jordan" rather than "senpai".
Thanks again for playing and for you feedback! I will update for future readers to enjoy and maybe make more of a connection with Momo.
