I love it. But I wish I could play it with my gamepad.
Gamepads should work just fine. What type is it?
A logitech gamepad F310. I'm using it on Linux (archlinux)... to be honest, I'm not quite sure how to troubleshoot it.
You can run the executable on the command line like this:
./kandria-linux.run controller-config
That'll let you configure the controller. If it doesn't detect one at all, then the problem is elsewhere on your system.
