Nice looking game!
The gameplay felt a little too slow-paced, since the ooze doesn't really seem like a threat :(Maybe making it a lot faster could add to the "forced to move" feeling.

Yeah, I think it’s a thing of the boots giving too much of a boost. When I make the DX I’ll be sure to lower the boost.
