Great game so far! I will say, there's a significant glitch I've encountered in Case 2. For some reason, the hidden room background is just displaying as pure white--UI elements show up, and it displays during conversations, but I had to check the walkthrough to be sure I wasn't missing anything critical...don't think I got the report, unless that's what Miranda found. Any idea what might be causing this, and how to fix it if it happens again?

Edit: Poking around, I noticed that the white screen was supposed to have been fixed in a previous patch...however, the problem persists even after downloading the most recent version of the game and replacing all the files. Although it seems like you said the patch was uploaded "earlier today" on the 4th, while the most recent bugfix devlog was on the 1st, so...? I dunno. Guess this is what version numbers are for.

I had  uploaded a fix for that a while ago. I guess it's still happening then... I'll work on another fix tonight and upload it as soon as I can.

Works fine for me now! Though--sorry to only have noticed now--I think there's supposed to be a CG during the scene immediately upon entering that room, when Silvia is discovered with Eliza? Currently, it just shows the default bedroom background...which probably should've tipped me off beforehand, but I guess I forgot when I encountered the pure white background.

Also, in Miranda's Villain Mode case, I think I found an incompletely implemented alternate solution; when Eliza mentions "someone must have entered the room," I presented the fingerprints and it...seemed to end the trial rather quickly indeed, with a slightly awkward transition. And sure enough, when I went back with the walkthrough to catch interactions I missed, the third and final piece of evidence gave the exact same scene...is there unused dialogue for that moment?

On that topic, though--having now entirely finished the game in all modes, I'm blown away by everything you managed to do with this story. All the moving parts from one simple premise, the other side of the story we saw in Miranda Mode, and then the alternate versions of each case in Villain Mode--incredibly well done! Must've been fun to write. (Also hell to write, probably. Hence my amazement.) Kudos!

Thanks. And yeah, it looks like I forgot to apply the atlas to that scene as well. For Miranda's villain mode trial, it looks like I missed a conditional and the fingerprints could be presented at any time to skip to near the end of the trial, which is probably why it was so jarring when you used it earlier in the trial. I'll work on uploading the fixes for these in just a few minutes.
