The art and atmosphere were perfect, and the controls felt smooth. The sound effects were also really impressive. I noticed you added a bit of story, which I really appreciated. I haven’t finished the game yet, but I’m definitely planning to come back to it later because the narration style is pretty good.

Overall, the game was really solid—there’s nothing that felt lacking. However,

The only problem is the frustration—frustration when the torch didn’t move quickly, frustration when you have to see the same cutscene again and again, and frustration with the minimal light source.

I can't put platforming in frustration, because for me, difficulty was never frustrating. But by seeing all the replies, I feel like it is a source of frustration for others.

I wouldn’t call the platforming is frustrating, since difficulty doesn’t bother me, but from some of the feedback I’ve seen, it seems others found it frustrating.

All in all, it’s a really good game, especially considering it’s your first jam. If you can address those frustrations, your game will be even stronger!

If you have time, feel free to check out my game as well—it’s a puzzle platformer with mouse controls. I’d love to hear your feedback!

thanks alot, I already noting all these feedbacks for a major updates beofre continuing the story, and IM gonna add the option to make the character glow and delete the torch, or keep the og game, as, as you said, some didnt like the torch, but others also liked it, so, its like, treating everyone equal, so, if someone wants the torch, they can play with it, aswell as play without it, and also, for the cutscenes and death scene when you fall, I still dont know how to do it, and Im working on godot, soo, note that, but I will eventualy do it
