Great theme interpretation and polished mechanics!

The game works really well, except that when restarting the flashlight is available straight away. I didn't quite understand why each paper contains 2 digits while the code for the safe is made of 4 digits? (Why not put a single digit on each paper).

If I understood correctly the randomness of the locations of notes is a representation of the player's state of insanity/decease?

The general vibe of the game is eery with great sound effects and when the ghosts come in it really kicks in the adrenaline.

To my taste the mixture of it being kinda silly with the funny opening sequence and the dark insanity theme was not a good choice. I felt that If the game was "serious" it would have been more engaging because the writing on the notes was amazing and got me in a dark state of mind.

Overall, Amazing submission! good job!

P.S. After playing your game I understood why my game's mouse sensitivity was too high for your taste XD

Thanks for playing. I didn't want to make the code too easy to solve so included an extra digit, small puzzle. I never intended the game to be dark and serious, but I guess it turned out that way unintentionally. In the controls I did have a mouse sensitivity slider to provide a little more control. The flashlight on restart was a bug which I have fixed in the code and will reupload after the game jam.
