These are just good insights! My goal is to actually have a talented team considering that I'm more of a "businessman" than a programmer.

About the psychological horror game, I have actually done some research and my culture has an interesting diversity of creatures and stories that could be very interesting in a horror game. I am not saying that I will add any creatures, but rather select those that best fit the theme. I will not include a pink dolphin that kidnaps women (yeah, we have something like that). Even from a more conservative point of view, Brazilians would certainly support the game. There are no games on the market that explore our culture and Brazilians tend to strongly support national projects.

Now regarding the zombie game... my goal is to create something more distant from the action or super humans who can kill zombies with their bare hands, no, I want to create a more immersive experience that provides freedom for the player to choose how they will obtain resources and food, like a choice system.

I grew up playing video games but to be honest I have a lot to learn, so it's interesting to receive constitutive feedback. If you have anything else in mind I would be grateful, I want to have a basis of what I'm doing.

Ps: (I know Resident Evil is a different niche than what I suggested, my English isn't the best ;))

Mmm... judging from your reply, I highly suggest that you update your game ideas cause right now both sound very broad. Also when I read simulation/strategy, I was imagining games like Civilization or Age of Empire but I am surprised that you actually meant survival games like Don't Starve in that reply.

I said very broad cause you only have something like "game which does this", "game which isn't that" or "game which feature this and that". You need something more specific, if you want a brazilian monster in a horror game, what does the monster do in the game? what can player do in the game? and so on.

If you want to make survival game, what is the main goal? what can or should player do to achieve that goal?

Yeah, now I get what you mean. It's true that up until now I haven't really gone into these ideas in depth. I was just thinking about doing something new or something that's not very well done in the industry. Lately, I've been doing a lot of research on the subject and I've found some less saturated niches. Looking a little more carefully, I can find some more specific things that could be interesting in a psychological horror game. Some legends from our folklore already have a very solid story and I could certainly make good use of some of them. I thought about creating different mechanics for some of them. I think an even number of creatures would be ideal. With a certain monster, the focus would be on survival, another could be on escape, etc. I already have some monsters in mind, but I need to do more in-depth research.

If you have any more tips or suggestions, I'm all ears. And sorry for the bad English.
