For being made on a modern engine, this game feels so much like a Gameboy title, I could have confused it for a Gameboy game under the right circumstances! The graphics and audio supplement that feel really nicely, and the gameplay feels smooth and flows well! As far as aesthetic, this feels more upbeat and charming than spooky, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, since I tend to prefer games with an upbeat tone personally, but since 'spooky' is the secondary theme, it looses points as far as interpretation. Still, I'd love to see this game fleshed out a bit more and including the cut content! It sounds like that would be a fun time! :)
