For the shop, you can buy items that unlock more slots!
And my bad for the leaderboard, you can probably just rebind the key in the settings or ctrl+v your name directly in

Oh, do those items appear in the shop? I haven't seen them during my run if they're random. The game is fantastic, I love these kinds of rhythm games and roguelikes so it was no issue (:
