Well, firstly, thank you for the feedback. Secondly, I tried to replicate the issue you are encountering, but I was not able to do so. 😣
I was on the html version, I've had problems and inconsistencies with html5 godot exports in the past, I'll try the download. I'll record a video if it keeps happening.

I figured it out, the button to change polarity is mapped to Q not A. That'll do it :)

changed the text so that you know that it's "a" for an azerty keyboard and "q" for a qwerty keyboard
