Being someone who has used scratch for 7 years, I'd completely agree, but something tells me that people who use three exclamation marks or can't spell "which" correctly aren't exactly the same people making games like Crystal Seeker or  Chirpy Reverie.

Hi -- we do our best here to keep the BRJ community healthy. I totally get where you're coming from. I'd be pretty peeved, too, if someone insulted my engine of choice!

But in the future, we ask that you please do your best to keep conversations productive by avoiding insults, as this can lead to normalizing bullying within the community.

I apologies if this appeared to look mean or insultive, and I was not attempting to bring toxicity to the community. I was only trying to defend an engine that is commonly hated on simply because a lot of low quality games have been made with it. I shall try not to appear aggressive when making comments related to this community from now on.

No i didnt say That scratch is bad you can do impressive stuff with it but it is so hard and it take so long lets take an example like crystal seeker the creator made it in a year and with a game engine it will take just few days and it will be much easier because much of the needs are built in in a game engine like mouvement 3d triangles renderer … but in scratch you will need to program it from scratch and also if you manage to create 3d space it will run at 8 fps wich very bad but a game engine will run at 180 fpd

I think we can chalk it up to a misunderstanding, I believe you and him.

You didn't mean offense, and he was trying to defend, both can be true.
I'm going to go ahead and lock the conversation though as it seems like we've cleared things up.

I'd recommend not interacting with each other any further though, like how he's posted on your most recent game, just ignore each other.
I'd rather not moderate further as we can all get along. 😂
You're doing well to be getting into game dev at your age and borrowing code and assets is a smart way to start.

I'm wishing you both luck and productivity.
