Very original idea, with a ton of potential, and pretty clean presentation. The problem is, I think that ten days is simply not enough time to implement that ambitious of an idea, and the game gets bogged down with bugs.

For example- when returning from 2d world, half the time I end up without the floor under me, making me fall. I discovered that stopping for a second before touching a blue block helps, but that might be just my impression. A purple block also managed to get stuck halfway, next to a glass wall.

I'd gladly play this game after it's a bit more stable, though!

Thank you so much for the informative feedback! I'm excited to polish the game further based on your thoughts, and I'll definitely let you know when the finished version is ready. I hope you'll enjoy it even more once it's complete!

Wait, this was your first jam game?

Yes

In that case- NICE! Next time, try to leave some time for gameplay polish and bugfixing (with an ambitious idea such as this, that might as well be half the jam time). Or take part in a long jam. Metroidvania month takes a month, and so does Boss Rush Jam (I'll probably take part in that one)!

Thank you for the advice! I'm a bit nervous about longer jams because I worry I might not be able to accomplish enough to compete with others. That said, I definitely want to give it a try one day. I believe I could have fixed most of the bugs if I had more time, but I've been really busy lately and just haven't had much free time.
