Thank you! I suspect the problem is in how I uploaded the build.  Are you willing to download the zip using a browser, and see if it runs when launched directly?  I don't have access to WIndows for playtesting.

I downloaded the game and opened the zip, the main file was named saga.x86_64, I renamed it to saga.exe and it worked. I think that the itch launcher starts the UnityCrashHandler64.exe instead.


The game worked! the mouse sense was extremely high, I have noticed that this can be different from linux to windows. But the gamepad controls worked fine!

Although I would have preferred a twinstick aiming method instead of moving the courser around on the screen.

You have been extremely helpful, I am very grateful.  You are absolutely right about the file extension- itch.io provides a tool that validates builds, and that was indeed the problem.

I'll fix the mouse sensitivity, and add twinstick aiming. Thanks again!
