i see, interesting idea, though most likely what your describing is likely to be a skill instead of a ring. the game is still in alpha, so by default the player had double jump unlocked because the method of obtaining it isn't implemented yet, but i wanted to build the foundation of that system well beforehand. though i sort of like the idea of using rings to give the player, new animations and effects based on a enemy. though likely they would just give the player some arbitrary traits like a bunny tail and ears in the example you gave. and these changes wont show up when a player is grabbed for very obvious, needing to make a new animation for every animation involving the new appearance of the player. overall its a interesting idea, hopefully ill be able to play with it when I'm not busy with college, for now I'm just creating new enemy's sprites until i graduate and get my coding energy back. ill add it in some loose form to the trello board
