OOOOh boy what a game! Ill start off with more technical side of things because Im very familiar with unity and you might appreaciate that side of things, also im happy to finally see another unity game in this jam so yeah! The main menu is very pretty, great aesthetics, very minimal, it works well. I would recommend adding a confirmation menu to the leave button, similar to the one you use for deleting saves. The credits should close in the main menu when you open other menus, or maybe just have a stronger transparency for the menus to avoid seeing text on top of each other. I do love that I have all these customisations at my fingertips in the settings, compared to a lot of games with only 1 or 2 options this is very nice that youre making use of them. The preview for text speed is a nice touch, I've never used nani novel so some of this might just end up being me complimenting the engine but whatever you guys programmed is also stellar work. When loading into the game, id suggest making the audio source for music persist since its the same song, alternatively a fade in/out could work nicely to avoid it sound a bit janky. Lastly on the technical side of things, I noticed your sliders arent correctly set up, you have the image squashing/stetching instead of being masked away when dragging, its a little thing but if you set it up right it looks wayyy better!

Moving on to the actual game now. The in game ui, very pretty and stylized, I would appreaciate an auto button as someone who likes to sit back and drink while reading but its okay to not have it. I will warn following parts might be spoilery but im keeping it minimal. I love the design for the skeleton boy, if your artist doesnt mind, id love to use his art for one of my dnd campaigns. He is so cool and I love him. It was weird for me to notice how quickly I just sort of went almost like stockholm syndrom and wanted to stay with him. It was great story telling to make me attached to a character so quickly, the feeling of being lost on my own was great, wanting to know more of what was going on until the end. Usually i dont like overly static characters, but your use of having him turn around constantly was really good, i was so immersed, walking the long path with him was so nice. I liked the way the CGs flowed as well! The music as well is so nice, it compliments the game perfectly!

There hasn't been many visual novels but I applaud you for immersing and investing me into this game so quickly, I was hooked within the first few lines. Great work, I love you, give me skele boy.

thank you so incredibly much for this thought out and much-needed feedback, literally everything i hoped for
for the technical side, naninovel does a lot of the features! i can't take credit for a lot of the customization options in the settings, but i'm still gonna take your feedback about loving them & plan to code my own versions of those features for a separate game im working on :D
diligently taking notes on your comments about the fade in for the music in loading and the sliders (WHICH BTW THANK YOU THOSE SLIDERS WERE THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE FOR LIKE A DAY so dear god ty, i'm silly for not doing a mask)

and for the game side, i'm actually the artist! :D you can DM me on discord abt using his art! <3 and thank you so much for your compliments about the writing and story, i was worried about the limits i was forcing myself to do with the assets so i'm stoked that it wasn't too immersion-breaking looking at the same thing for a while!!

thank you again for your feedback, taking it to heart <3
