You have most definitely fixed the issue, thank you so much! My heart is so full for these characters. <3

Unfortunately the last place I can save is, as little spoilers as I can give, in the Abyss' palm, if that makes sense? Any saves I try to do after that just make the game freeze.

Again, thank you so much! I absolutely adored this game (hence why I smashed it out in a day) and I'm looking forward to whatever else you guys do!

So glad to hear it!!

Removing the autosave is not an elegant solution, but I'm still trying to find what causes it to crash—it's the point where all the main choices made during the game converge, and there are... a lot of possibilities 😅

Hello! I'm having the same issue, but while dreaming of the Abyss immediately after The Bowels of Earth. The "progress saved" popup appears, and then I can't continue or select any menus. The autosave there doesn't work, and if I try to manually save during that scene, it won't save and immediately stops letting me select anything.

Can you save normally during the rest of the scene, or is it only blocked when dreaming of the Abyss?

I am not romancing Alpheon.

It looks like I stop being able to save around the decision to eavesdrop or look for alternate exits.

I just pushed a patch that should fix the issue! I split the scene in two documents.

Loading the autosave made in the scene before Bowels of the Earth (that leads to BotE) should now let you access the scene in its entirety & let you save. Let me know if it works!
