I had just redownloaded the Windows version of Chapter 2 Update 1, using the link on itch.io, and it worked fine for me. Can you try and redownloading and relaunching?
I tried reinstalling and installing after uninstalling. The problem has not been solved, it may be some other special reason. Thank you for your patience and help.
