I'm glad you liked it!😄 The monster only takes one shot to kill, you might have just aimed a lil too far up or down lol. I'd recommend walking toward it until the screen effects start, and then wait for it to come to you while you steady your aim👍
Okay, it turns out that when I beat the game the first time, I shot somewhere else and killed the monster. Turns out I have a poor aim. I ended up getting a bad ending, but at least I got a good ending the first time.
