I enjoyed the variety of enemies, each with unique mechanics and animations, and the gradual difficulty increase made for a solid challenge. The pixel art and cohesive color scheme are well done, though the game’s slow pace made it feel like it needed more continuous forward motion, perhaps with a dodge mechanic instead of hiding. Clearer visual cues for enemy attacks and some extra lives would help with the game’s flow. While the music sample became repetitive, adding layers with each new enemy could enhance dynamics. Overall, it’s a charming and well-crafted game, especially impressive if built entirely with code.
