I was refering to the motif. I do agree with the fact that it's important to mess around with the motif and make it so that it benefits your song. I just meant you went a little bit too far. But I really enjoyed listening to the song.
Ah I see. Yes I did stretch it a bit far mostly because of the jazzy swing feel I went for. I wanted something that would stand out and I thought a swing rhythm would do the trick plus I wanted to practice writing swing more as well.
