I got to the end this time :P
If you want to try and replicate the freeze, I think it has something to do with the UI.
I think I clicked in the UI before the next level opened, so essentially clicking the widget twice before the code for opening the level ran. Maybe it looped or something.
But the second time round I didn't have any issues.
Very nice game. Missing some ambience sound but the rest is great. Awesome submission.
You got it right! The game got stuck in UI input for the chat widget and didn't go back to the Player Controller when the level transition is triggered while in UI mode.
