I really like the creative concept of the game, but I gotta ask. How much of this art is actually yours? It's clear from the inconsistency of the art style of the assets that this they came from different sources. You should at least credit the artists.

Hi JJ thanks for taking the time to play!
(great entry yourself btw)
It might not be as clear on the itch but this was a collab between 3 IRL friends.
I haven't had the time to update the page with attribution but I can do a rundown here and when I have more time to update the itch page. I also planned on doing a postmortem just to get all 3 of our thoughts together for fun.
Everyone is right different assets was because of scrapping an idea beforehand salvaging it, scrapping it again and running with what we had in the last few days full time jobs and family come first as well.
We all knew this would be brought up but we had the gameplay there and our main artist was busy with work so we worked with what we had.
Initial thought was for when a limb gets blown off from the kaiju to have all 4 players attach it wherever leveraging the sticker system, in an operation style mini game.
this was using the style you see the kaiju in now, he was different pieces formed into something like a monster with moldable parts when he was originally supposed to be a lovecraftian amalgalm of parts created by the players.
ChippedMonk - Kaiju, Player Char, Guns, Heli, Tanks, Buildings - Created in Clip Studio
Brofessor - Joke song at the end was created with Sudo, as well as Supporting Programming (gamertags, and the scrapped sticker system that wasn't done in time for the jam, also scrapped custom netcode written in java we couldnt get to not lag with more than 2 players tied to the sticker system)
Mister Gimpy (me) Most of the programming - Enemy bullets, were me just made in the pixel editor, Kaiju roar was me screaming into a mic, with echo's and bitcrush added and spliced with a sound of my dog barking. using audacity
THE BG parallax layers were midjourney images painted over and cut with Photoshop
Other assets were from previously purchased asset packs:
