Wolf, my most cherished Conway crew mate, how cruel fate is to us... to relive the prior pain with wine, but now with rum... At least we got to reread Day 1 supper with you. Also, dang, there's a lot of places for Raj 'bad ends' for lack of a better phrase. I mean, not hard to avoid, but the balls on MC is absolutely absurd when you look at some of the choices you can make with her. Or the blackmailing option with Arthur. Wild stuff for sure.

Glad we finally got to see the pay off with being able to convince Arthur to let us stay.

Typos time: "With one hand you hold the bottle of wine, hastily covered by your shirt ..." I brought rum, not wine after seeing Perce

"You fish for the buttons of your shirt and open two of them - just enough for you to guide the bottle of wine through." wine ref again

"You don't strike me as someone who would be prepared enough to bring something along for you can trade." Messy end - easiest to just swap 'can' for 'to'

"I just thought it would be nice to share some wine with you when ..." Wine ref

Somewhat confused by a certain sequence, you can obtain the rum and not be able to bring it with you on the first go around (too nervous, which is understandable I suppose), but also not bring it with you on the second go around when considerably more desperate with nothing to lose? I think that's more of a writing/characterization choice, but putting it here in case it was a mistake.

"It doesn't matter that much of you don't know one in particular..." 'of' -> 'if'

"I haven't sent a single one of of them." Doubled 'of'

"Anyone would be better than than a confidence man." Double 'than'

Hey hey thank you for the catches! Should all be sorted out come update 16.

And will have a peek at the pathing there as well. Initial thought is that i generally don't want to force people into a certain path, so that's probably why you can still decide against using the booze on the second go. But I'll have to double check to be sure. Hard to really recall every permutation off of the top of my head.

And yeh, if the player can choose then i do want to have some choices that are just out there if someone really wants to go that route. Though yeah, usually preeeeetty well telegraphed since i don't like having some innocuous choice end up suddenly have some character get super mad at you.
But having the option i think is still valuable and fun in a way. :D

Haha, I wasn't complaining about having the options. I do personally feel bad going for some of them because they are just... wow.

But on the other hand, I just can't leave a stone unturned here. I can't deny the curiosity that begs me to look at the obviously wrong answer. I was honestly shocked by the blackmail option and the fact that it didn't get us literally thrown overboard or held in a solitary confinement or something. They are a neat little addition even if you know that nothing good is going to come of going for them.

damn, you can blackmail arthur?? how??

Spoilers

Any route where you know Sam's a woman who is crossdressing to be able to work on the seas should theoretically let you be able to blackmail Arthur with that info into letting you stay.

Spoiler

Oh damn that never crossed my mind, I couldn't do that to Sam, I always choose her route, but good to know </3
